# Create an account

> Learn how to create a free FutureStack account to upvote tools, write reviews, and save your favorites.

Creating a FutureStack account is free and takes under a minute.

    Visit [usefuturestack.com/signup](https://www.usefuturestack.com/signup).

  <Step title="Enter your details">
    Enter your name, email address, and a password of at least 8 characters.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Subscribe to the newsletter (optional)">
    The newsletter checkbox is ticked by default. It subscribes you to The Stack by FutureStack, a free weekly digest of the best new AI tools. Uncheck it if you prefer not to subscribe.

  <Step title="Click Create Account">
    Your account is created. Check your inbox for a verification email and click the link inside to activate your account.

  <Step title="Start exploring">
    You are now logged in. Upvotes, reviews, and saved tools are all tied to your account and sync across devices.
