# Privacy & security

> Two-factor auth, sessions, data collection, and privacy controls for your FutureStack account.

## What data we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed, never stored in plain text). We also collect usage data through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the platform.

## What is public

Your profile page, upvoted tools, saved stack, submitted tools, and reviews are all public by default. Your email address is never shown publicly.

## Keeping your account secure

* Use a strong, unique password
* Do not share your login with anyone
* If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately at [usefuturestack.com/login](https://www.usefuturestack.com/login)
