# Quickstart

> Get up and running on FutureStack in under 5 minutes.

Welcome aboard. Here is the fastest path from landing on FutureStack to finding your first tool.

    Go to [usefuturestack.com](https://www.usefuturestack.com) and explore the feed. Use the category and role filters to narrow down by what you do. Use the search bar to find a specific tool by name or use case.

    Use the pricing filter to show only Free or Freemium tools. Every tool has a clear pricing badge so you know what you are getting before you click.

  <Step title="Open a tool page">
    Click any tool card to read the full description, see the killer feature, check platforms, and read community reviews. The upvote count tells you how the community rates it.

  <Step title="Visit the tool">
    Click the Visit Website button to go directly to the tool. If the maker opted into our affiliate program, your click supports FutureStack at no cost to you.
