# Claim your tool

> Take ownership of an existing FutureStack listing to manage and respond as the maker.

If your tool was listed by a community member before you submitted it yourself, you can claim ownership of that listing.

## How to claim

  <Step title="Find your listing">
    Search for your tool on FutureStack and open the tool page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Email us">
    Send an email to [team.futurestack@gmail.com](mailto:team.futurestack@gmail.com) with the subject line "Claim listing: \[Tool Name]". Include the URL of the listing and proof that you are the maker (your company email, a link to the tool's official website, or social media).
  </Step>

  <Step title="We verify and transfer">
    We verify your ownership within 48 hours and transfer the listing to your account. You will receive a confirmation email.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Manage your listing">
    Once claimed, you can edit all fields, respond to reviews, and update the listing as your tool evolves.
  </Step>

* Access to listing analytics
* Ability to respond to reviews as the maker

## My tool is not listed yet

If your tool is not on FutureStack at all, go to [Submit a Tool](/submissions/submit-a-tool) instead of claiming.
