# Pricing & Sponsorship

FutureStack is committed to being an open and honest marketplace. Submitting a tool, upvoting, reviewing, and tracking analytics will **always be 100% free**.

To keep the platform running and support our team, we offer premium **Sponsorship & Featured Ad** placements for makers who want to accelerate their growth and get in front of thousands of daily AI adopters.

## 1. Organic Listings (Always Free)

Every standard tool listing gets equal treatment:

* **Cost**: \$0.
* **Rankings**: Determined entirely by community velocity, upvotes, ratings, and active discussion engagement.
* **Curation**: Stack of the Day is an editorial spotlight pick and **cannot be bought**.

## 2. Sponsored Placements (Paid)

Makers can purchase dedicated, clearly labeled sponsored placements to boost visibility. Sponsored tools bypass standard ranking algorithms but do not receive fake organic upvotes.

### A. Featured Home Banner

Prominent placement at the very top of the homepage, above the folding grid.

* **Placement**: Top spot on the homepage feed.
* **Availability**: Maximum 2 sponsors per day.
* **Pricing**: \$150 / day.

### B. Category Sponsor

Appear as the sticky top result when users filter by a specific category (e.g., "Design Tools", "Developer Tools").

* **Placement**: Locked to the top of category feeds.
* **Pricing**: \$75 / week.

### C. Newsletter Sponsorship

Feature your tool in our weekly newsletter sent to over 10,000+ AI developers, makers, and enthusiasts.

* **Format**: Dedicated sponsor feature block (Logo, Title, 150-word description, CTA button).
* **Availability**: 1 sponsor slot per weekly edition.
* **Pricing**: \$200 / edition.

## 3. How to Apply

If you are interested in booking a sponsorship slot:

1. Log in to your FutureStack account.
2. Head to the **Maker Console** and click **Promote** next to your tool.
3. Select your desired placement and choose your dates on the calendar.
4. If the dates are available, click **Request Booking**. Our team will review your tool to ensure it meets our utility standards and send a payment invoice within 24 hours.
