# Review process

> What happens after you submit a tool to FutureStack, from queue to approval.

Every submission goes through a quick human review before going live. Here is exactly what happens after you hit Submit.

    Your tool lands in our review queue and you get a confirmation email. The admin team is notified immediately.

  <Step title="We check the basics">
    We verify the tool exists, the website is live, and the description is original and accurate. We also check that the tool meets our listing standards.

  <Step title="We review the listing quality">
    We look at the logo, tagline, description, category, and role tags. If anything is missing or unclear, we may fill in small gaps ourselves or reach out to you.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approval or rejection">
    If approved, your tool goes live in the feed under New This Week and gets 7 days of guaranteed visibility. If rejected, you get an email explaining why and what to fix before resubmitting.

## How long does it take

We aim to review all submissions within 48 hours. During high-volume periods it may take up to 72 hours.

## Common reasons for rejection

* The tool is on a waitlist with no working product
* The description is copy-pasted from the tool website
* The logo is missing or low quality
* The tool is not AI-powered in a meaningful way
* The website URL does not load

## After approval

Once live, your tool appears in the feed and gets indexed by Google via our sitemap. You will receive an email confirmation with a link to your listing.
