# Submission Guidelines

# Submission Guidelines

Following these guidelines will help your submission get approved faster and give your tool the best chance of being discovered.

## Writing a good description

Your tool description is the first thing users see. Make it clear and honest:

* **Lead with what the tool does**, not how great it is
* Keep it **concise**: aim for 2–3 sentences that a first-time visitor would understand
* Avoid **excessive marketing language** like "revolutionary", "game-changing", or "the best AI tool ever"
* Be **accurate**: don't claim features the tool doesn't have

**Good example:**\
*"Notion AI is a writing assistant built into Notion that helps you draft, summarize, and edit content directly inside your workspace."*

**Poor example:**\
*"The most powerful AI writing tool ever created. Transform your productivity forever!"*

## Choosing the right category

Pick the category that best describes your tool's primary use case. If your tool fits multiple categories, choose the most prominent one.

## Pricing accuracy

Select the correct pricing model:

* **Free**: Completely free, no credit card required
* **Freemium**: Free tier available, paid plans for more features
* **Paid**: Requires a subscription or one-time payment

Do not mark a paid tool as "Free". Inaccurate pricing leads to user frustration and may result in your listing being flagged.

## Logo and images

* Provide a **clear, high-resolution logo**
* The logo should work on a **white background**
* Avoid screenshots that are cropped, blurry, or outdated

## Links

* The URL should go to your **tool's homepage** or a direct product page
* Do not link to affiliate pages, landing pages unrelated to the tool, or tracking URLs
