# Report a bug

> Help us fix issues on FutureStack, here's how to submit a great bug report.

If something on FutureStack is broken, we want to know.

## How to report

Email [team.futurestack@gmail.com](mailto:team.futurestack@gmail.com) with the subject line "Bug report" and include:

* What you were trying to do
* What happened instead
* The URL of the page where it happened
* Your browser and device (for example, Chrome on Windows or Safari on iPhone)
* A screenshot if possible

The more detail you include, the faster we can fix it.

## Common issues with quick fixes

* **Page not loading**: try a hard refresh with Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows or Cmd + Shift + R on Mac
* **Upvote not working**: make sure you are logged in and try refreshing
* **Search returning no results**: try a shorter or different search term
* **Login loop**: clear your browser cookies and try again

## Response time

We aim to respond to bug reports within 24 hours and fix critical issues within 48 hours.
