FutureStack works because the community is honest. These guidelines exist to keep it that way.

For users

  • Upvote tools you have actually used or found useful. Upvotes are a trust signal. Mass-upvoting tools you have never tried pollutes rankings for everyone.
  • Write honest reviews. If a tool has problems, say so clearly and specifically. Vague praise is useless. Personal attacks on makers are not allowed.
  • Do not create multiple accounts to upvote your own tools or manipulate rankings.
  • No spam in discussions. Stay on topic. Do not post affiliate links or promotional content in community threads.

For makers

  • Do not ask friends or communities to mass-upvote your tool. Coordinated upvote campaigns are detected and can result in your listing being removed.
  • Keep your listing accurate. If your pricing changes or a feature is removed, update your listing.
  • Do not submit the same tool multiple times under different names.
  • Do not fake reviews. Creating accounts to leave positive reviews on your own tool is grounds for permanent removal.

Enforcement

Violations are handled in order of severity:
  1. Warning and content removal
  2. Temporary account suspension
  3. Permanent ban and tool delisting
To report a violation, email team.futurestack@gmail.com.
