FutureStack is powered by a simple loop: makers submit tools, users discover and upvote them, and the best rise to the top.

The flow

1

A maker submits a tool

Anyone can submit an AI tool for free at usefuturestack.com/submit. The submission goes into a review queue.
2

We review it

Every submission is manually reviewed within 48 hours. We check that the tool is real, working, and meets our listing standards. No waitlists or vaporware make it through.
3

It goes live

Approved tools appear in the feed under New This Week. They get guaranteed visibility for 7 days regardless of upvote count.
4

The community votes

Users upvote tools they find useful. Upvotes combined with reviews and engagement determine where a tool ranks in Trending and Top Rated.
5

The best rise to the top

Tools with strong community signal stay visible long-term. The feed is not chronological. Quality compounds over time.

What gets ranked

  • Trending: tools gaining the most upvotes in the last 48 hours
  • Top Rated: all-time highest quality tools, scored by upvotes weighted by recency and engagement
  • New This Week: freshly approved tools guaranteed 7 days of visibility
  • Stack of the Day: one tool hand-picked daily and featured on the homepage

How the feed works

The homepage feed blends all three sections. The first few cards show New This Week, the next show Trending, then Top Rated. This ensures new tools always get a fair shot while proven tools stay visible. When you apply a filter, the feed updates to show only matching tools across all three sections.
