Moderation Guidelines

To ensure FutureStack remains a trustworthy place to discover AI tools, we hold our reviews, discussions, and upvotes to high standards. This guide explains how we moderate content and verify user signals. , -

1. Upvote Auditing (Anti-Spam)

Our rankings are determined by community upvotes, which makes vote integrity extremely important. We audit votes to prevent manipulation:
  • Automatic Filtering: We use security heuristics to identify and discard upvotes generated by bots, proxy servers, temporary email addresses, or coordinates indicating click farms.
  • Fake Accounts: Upvotes coming from newly created accounts with no profile activity that only vote for a single tool may be flagged and removed.
  • No Trading or Buying: Buying upvotes or participating in vote-trading groups is strictly prohibited. Listings found using these services will be penalized, demoted from rankings, or removed entirely from the marketplace.
, -

2. Review Moderation Policy

We encourage honest feedback, both positive and negative. We do not edit reviews; however, we will remove reviews that violate our community standards.

Reasons for Review Removal:

  • Spam & Promotion: Reviews containing affiliate codes, links to competing tools, or advertising copy.
  • Abuse & Harassment: Content containing hate speech, direct insults, defamation, or vulgar language.
  • Fake/Unverified Reviews: Reviews submitted in exchange for direct financial payment or reviews written by the tool’s own makers/employees using personal accounts.
  • Irrelevant Content: Reviews that do not address the tool’s utility (e.g. general web complaints, gibberish characters, or off-topic rants).

3. Disputing a Review (For Makers)

If a review on your tool page is abusive, inaccurate, or written by a competitor:
  1. Do not engage in a public argument or launch a counter-attack in the comments.
  2. Email us at team.futurestack@gmail.com with the subject “Review Dispute: [Your Tool Name]”.
  3. Provide a link to the review and explain why you believe it violates our guidelines.
  4. Our team will review the dispute within 4 business days. If we find it violates our policy, it will be removed. If it is simply a negative user opinion, it will remain, but you are welcome to reply constructively.
, -

4. Reporting Abuse (For Users)

If you spot spam, harassment, or bot accounts: Our moderation team monitors flags 24/7 to keep the FutureStack community safe and clean.
